Dr. Sonu Kumar was born in Uttar Pradesh, India. He completed his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in chemistry from Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut, India in 2007 and 2009, respectively. He then received a Ph.D. degree in chemistry from Department of Chemistry University of Delhi in 2017, under the supervision of Prof. Akhilesh K. Verma. He is currently working as an assistant professor in the Department of Chemistry, Hansraj College University of Delhi. His scientific interest is in Organometallic Chemistry as well as in one-pot transition metal-catalyzed synthesis of fused bioactive heterocycles.
