Research

The faculty members of Hansraj College are actively engaged in research in distinct domains. Hansraj College seeks to emerge as an institution engaged in cutting edge research and provides opportunities to students and faculty through innovative projects, researches, publications, conferences, workshops and procurement of resources. These initiatives are facilitated through research grants by UGC, DST, SERB, DBT, NMPB, DRDO and other agencies.  The college is actively involved in various research collaborations with University of Loyola Chicago, University of California San Diego USA, University of Debrecen Hungary, and BIOCEV - Charles University Prague. The college has three Research Centres that create a transparent and turnkey research ecosystem that significantly facilitates the effective interactions between faculty and students to intriguing their respective domains. They passionately explore intellectual frontiers through studies in areas like plant genome, drug discovery for various parasitic diseases, medicinal chemistry, Vedic research, and environment etc to name a few.

Laboratory For Translational Chemistry and Drug Discovery of College has made intriguing contributions to Anti-COVID therapeutics.
